About The Position
Guardian Angel Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs) or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for full-time and part-time opportunities. The role is field-based and involves working in patient homes, with travel between patient locations required. Care is provided under the supervision of a nurse and according to patient care plans. Employees are assigned to a local branch and patient homes in the surrounding community. The company describes itself as a fast-growing home health agency with more than 22 locations nationwide.
Requirements
- Active HHA or CNA certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable vehicle.
- Auto insurance with the applicant's name listed on the policy.
- Reliability, compassion, and dependability.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in patient homes.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in home health, hospice, or caregiving.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Help patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Follow care plans under the supervision of a nurse.
