About The Position
Guardian Angel Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs) or CNAs for field-based work serving patients in their homes. The agency has 22+ locations nationwide and describes itself as a fast-growing provider of high-quality care. The role involves assisting patients with daily living needs, providing companionship, and following care plans under nurse supervision. Employees are assigned to a local branch and patient homes in the surrounding community, with travel between patient locations required. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with flexible scheduling and consistent patient assignments.
Requirements
- Active HHA or CNA certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable vehicle.
- Auto insurance with the employee’s name listed on the policy.
- Reliable, compassionate, and dependable.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in patient homes.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in home health, hospice, or caregiving.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Help patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Follow care plans under the supervision of a nurse.
