Requirements

Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation.
FL: Successful completion of at least forty hours of training in areas required by Agency for Health Care Administration or successfully passing the home health aide competency test (Form AHCA 3110-1007 created by AHCA).

Nice To Haves

Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
6+ months of home care experience
Ability to work flexible hours and independently

Responsibilities

Provide or assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing in bed, tub or shower; care of hair including shampoo, combing and brushing; care of teeth and mouth including denture care; nail care, filing only; skin care including peri care and applying lotion; transfer of patient from bed to chair and to wheelchair. Transfer of patients on and off bedpan, commode and toilet.
Report observations of the client's condition to the agency director or accounts manager.
Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt when business travel is required.
Assist with household tasks directly essential to clients' personal care.
Function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
