About The Position

LifeCircles PACE is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home care and support to older adults, helping them remain safely at home while maintaining dignity and independence. The position is in Home Care at LifeCircles PACE in Muskegon, Michigan, and is scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and holiday rotation, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The listed compensation is $18.87–$20.43 per hour.

The role involves personal care, household support, mealtime assistance, mobility support, vital-sign monitoring, and observing and reporting changes in participants’ conditions. The aide follows each participant’s Life Plan, maintains confidentiality, and works with the interdisciplinary team and leadership. The listed duties are a summary and may not include all duties required for the position.

Requirements

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) qualification in accordance with state requirements.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, following the participant’s Life Plan.
• Support household tasks such as laundry, sweeping, and grocery shopping.
• Help participants with meals and hydration.
• Assist with mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake and output.
• Keep rooms tidy, comfortable, and stocked with essentials.
• Respond to participants with kindness and compassion.
• Report changes in participants’ conditions to the interdisciplinary team and leadership as soon as possible.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism while providing care.
