About The Position

Requirements
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care, with a commitment to client safety and well-being.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- CNA certification in good standing on the Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in home care, nursing home, or hospital settings preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and mobility support.
- Take and record vital signs as directed.
- Assist with toileting, catheter care, and G-tube care.
- Help with light housekeeping, such as laundry, dishes, and vacuuming.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols and use appropriate PPE.
- Communicate changes in a client's condition to the RN and care team.
- Offer emotional support and a compassionate presence during visits.
