About The Position
Assisting Hands Home Care provides compassionate, dependable in-home care that helps individuals remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. Our care is rooted in dignity, respect, and personalized support, allowing clients to maintain their quality of life where they feel happiest. Assisting Hands Home Care is known for its high standards and commitment to excellence. Our caregivers are reliable, compassionate, and dedicated to providing care that builds trust and makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. Various days available, up to 30 hours per week. All days needed! Weekday and Weekend available. Day and Evening Shifts available.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of home care, senior care or hospitality experience (Caring for a loved one or friend may be considered as Caregiving Experience)
- Florida Level 2 Background Screening (we can help you get started if you don't have one)
- Current CPR certificate (we offer classes here)
- High school graduate or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Personal Care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Conversation & companionship
- Light Housekeeping
- Meal preparation / medication reminders
- Some clients may require more care such as a Hoyer Lift, Dementia Care, etc.
