About The Position

BrightStar Care of Seminole County is seeking a compassionate and patient Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant to support a pediatric client with behavioral challenges who benefits from consistent structure and individualized support. Shifts are available Monday through Sunday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m. or 8 p.m.–8 a.m., with work in Casselberry, Altamonte, Sanford, Longwood, Lake Mary, and Winter Park. The schedule includes every other weekend, with flexibility for applicants seeking a single day on weekends. Compensation is $16 per hour. The role provides in-home care and support, including personal hygiene and daily living assistance, mobility support, and help with safe activities. Requirements

At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
Valid CPR certificate with hands-on training; virtual courses are not accepted.
TB skin test dated within the past year or chest X-ray dated within the past five years.
Background check.
Reliable car and auto insurance.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Provide hygiene care as directed, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, and toileting activities.
Assist with daily tasks such as feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, and light housekeeping.
Assist the client with active and passive mobility work as defined by the plan of care.
Assist patients with walking and outdoor activities.
Promote a safe environment for quality patient care by following established policies, procedures, and standards.
