About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is a family-owned agency seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides (HHA) or Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA). We offer free HHA training and certification for those who need it. As part of our caring family, you will receive the support, training, and encouragement needed to succeed. This role involves assisting clients with personal care, providing companionship, light housekeeping, errands, meal preparation, medication reminders, and monitoring client condition. We are hiring in multiple locations across Massachusetts and offer flexible scheduling.
Requirements
- Your own vehicle and a valid driver's license
- Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
- A compassionate, respectful, and dependable attitude
- Good time management and organizational skills
- A commitment to following health and safety guidelines
Nice To Haves
- HHA or CNA certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as hygiene, dressing, and meals
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Helping with light housekeeping to maintain clean, safe homes
- Running errands like grocery shopping
- Preparing meals, with client input when possible
- Giving medication reminders
- Performing routine cleaning (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, bathrooms, etc.)
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in client condition
- Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
