About The Position
At Guardian Angel Senior Services, we are a family-owned agency that prioritizes and supports our caregivers. We are looking for Home Health Aides (HHA) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) to join our team. We offer flexible schedules, free training and certification, and a supportive work environment. Our services are provided to a wide range of locations including Agawam, Belchertown, Brimfield, Chicopee, East Longmeadow, Granby, Hampden, Holland, Holyoke, Longmeadow, Ludlow, Monson, Palmer, South Hadley, Springfield, Wales, Ware, Warren, West Springfield, and Wilbraham.
Requirements
- Own vehicle and a valid driver's license
- Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
- Compassionate, respectful, and dependable attitude
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Commitment to following health and safety guidelines
Nice To Haves
- HHA or CNA certification preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care (hygiene, dressing, meals)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean home
- Run errands such as grocery shopping
- Prepare meals with client involvement when possible
- Provide medication reminders
- Perform routine cleaning (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, bathrooms, etc.)
- Monitor and report changes in client condition
- Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies
