Home Health Aide / Caregiver (Isanti Area)
About The Position
Comfort Keepers is hiring compassionate, reliable, and dependable in-home caregivers to support clients in the Isanti area. Multiple shifts are available, allowing caregivers to choose one or several opportunities and build a schedule that fits their availability. The role involves supporting clients in their homes and helping promote dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life through the Interactive Caregiving approach. Comfort Keepers provides training, continuing education, and opportunities to develop skills and advance in a healthcare career. Eligible direct-care employees may be able to receive scholarship support through the Minnesota Department of Health HCBS Employee Scholarship Program for approved CNA, LPN, or RN education expenses. Eligibility requires an average of at least 10 hours of direct-care work per week and compliance with program requirements; funding is limited and awarded based on eligibility, available funds, and approved educational costs.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
- Be compassionate, dependable, and responsible.
- Be comfortable providing care in a client's home.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Provide transportation and support with errands.
- Encourage independence and participation in daily routines.
