About The Position

Benchmark is seeking compassionate LNA/HHA/PCAs to provide care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. The position is offered full time on day or evening shifts and part time on day or evening shifts. Associates support residents’ daily living needs, document care, communicate changes to appropriate staff, engage residents in meaningful activities, and provide emotional support and exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• A valid CNA, HHA, or LNA license is required; the employer will train the right person if they do not have certification.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Perform other duties as needed.
