About The Position

Safe Hands Warm Hearts (SHWH) is a fast-growing, family-owned agency serving hundreds of clients across Michigan. We specialize in helping the most vulnerable members of our community—Medicaid and Medicaid Waiver clients—maintain their independence at home. This is a hands-on position.

Requirements

• Must have a reliable vehicle, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check.
• Must be comfortable using a smartphone for GPS clock-ins (EVV compliance).

Nice To Haves

• Having a "Plan B" for car trouble is a huge plus.
• 2+ years of home care experience is preferred, but we will train the right heart.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinence care (peri-care).
• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
• Assisting with transfers and "range of motion" exercises.
• Running errands or driving clients to appointments using your own vehicle.
