About The Position
BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client in the Granbury area. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and ensuring a safe environment for the client. The ideal candidate will have experience with dementia care and be comfortable with total care and mobility assistance.
Requirements
- Hoyer lift experience required
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
- Experience caring for clients with dementia or cognitive impairment is highly preferred
- Dementia care experience strongly preferred
- CPR certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with transfers using a Hoyer lift
- Provide toileting and personal care assistance
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report changes in the client's condition
- Maintain a safe and respectful environment
