About The Position

Visiting Angels of York is hiring a Home Caregiver for a part-time position, with up to full-time hours available depending on flexibility, availability, and demand. The role provides one-on-one, non-medical assistance to clients in their homes. Shifts are available during the day or evening, and the position may require travel. The agency serves clients in York, Dover, Shrewsbury, Wrightsville, Hanover, Red Lion, Spring Grove, and surrounding areas of York County, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance.

Nice To Haves

• One year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA license preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Help with light housekeeping and other quiet household tasks.
• Provide transfers, ambulation, and mobility assistance as needed.
• Monitor clients to ensure their safety and comfort throughout the night.
• Provide other non-medical assistance as assigned.
