About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide exceptional personal care and support to clients in Delhi Mills, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to help them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus but not necessary
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and families
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
- Pass required background checks
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Support clients with mobility and transferring safely
- Monitor client conditions and report any changes to the office
- Follow care plans and instructions accurately
- Maintain client confidentiality and dignity at all times
