About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide quality in-home care services to our clients in Salem, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities while promoting independence, safety, and well-being in a supportive and respectful manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is an asset but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy.
- Reliable transportation to travel within Salem, MI.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and perform light housekeeping.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide support with meal preparation and feeding as required.
- Help clients with mobility, including transferring and ambulation.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any significant changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Follow care plans and adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
