Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field is preferred but not required
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to client needs
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Reliable transportation to travel to client locations in Whitmore Lake, MI
- Willingness to undergo background checks
- Flexible availability to accommodate various client schedules
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and companionship to clients in their homes
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Help clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Monitor and report any changes in client’s health or behavior to supervisory staff
- Support clients in adhering to prescribed medication and treatment plans
- Maintain client confidentiality and respect their privacy at all times
