Requirements

Prior experience in home care, healthcare staffing, or scheduling coordination preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with scheduling or home care software (e.g., ClearCare, WellSky, or similar)
Ability to problem-solve quickly and remain calm under pressure
Compassionate, client-focused attitude with a team-player mindset
High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage caregiver schedules to ensure consistent, high-quality client coverage
Match clients with appropriate caregivers based on needs, availability, and compatibility
Respond promptly to scheduling changes, call-outs, and last-minute shift requests
Serve as a primary point of contact for caregivers and clients regarding scheduling matters
Maintain accurate scheduling records using home care management software
Communicate with care coordinators and supervisors to align staffing with client care plans
Monitor caregiver availability, overtime, and compliance with scheduling policies
Participate in the on-call rotation, including two evenings per week and backup coverage every other weekend
