About The Position
Visiting Angels is looking for an Support Professional to support our caregivers and clients. This position combines caregiver leadership, training, office support, and hands-on client care.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Caregiving or home care experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Compassionate and professional attitude
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to meet required background, health, training, and employment requirements
Responsibilities
- Support, coach, and train Angel Caregivers
- Assist with client Care Plans and caregiver training
- Help resolve caregiver and client concerns
- Help onboard and orient new caregivers
- Provide in-home client care as needed by assisting clients with personal care, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, companionship, and mobility
- Complete required documentation
- Communicate with caregivers, clients, families, and the Support Team
- Assist Care Coordinators as needed
- Participate in evening and weekend on-call rotation as directed
- Assist with general office and team needs
