About The Position

OCES is growing and expanding to 11 more towns covering the south shore area. OCES supports older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing vital information and coordination of services. We are seeking a Home Care (Intake Program Assistant) who will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Home Care Department.

  • Ability to deal effectively with statistical and financial data
  • Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment
  • Minimum one year of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Associate's degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide telephone coverage from Home Care staff as required
  • Communicate with the program management regarding information related to file set up, issues with completed paperwork, and quality of referrals being submitted
  • Review and correct data for new consumers within record system
  • Provide accurate reports as needed
  • Assist staff in sending and submitting waiver paperwork for consumers
  • Other duties as assigned
