About The Position
Niagara Hospice is seeking a compassionate, certified New York State Home Health Aide to provide in-home care to hospice patients throughout Niagara County. This is a traveling position requiring use of a personal vehicle for work in the county. The position guarantees 37.5 hours per week and offers experience- and seniority-based compensation, along with a guaranteed annual cost-of-living wage increase.
Requirements
- Current New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
- Verifiable work experience as an HHA in the Home Care Registry within the last two years.
- Use of a personal vehicle for work in Niagara County.
- High school education or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home care to Niagara Hospice patients throughout Niagara County.
- Travel throughout Niagara County using a personal vehicle for work.
- Work five days per week, either 8 a.m.–4 p.m. or 9 a.m.–5 p.m., with an every-other-weekend rotation.
