About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Home Health Aides to provide care to clients in their homes in Morris, Sussex, and Warren counties, including Rockaway, Wharton, Morristown, Morris Plains, Succasunna, Parsippany, Chester, Florham Park, East Hanover, and Chatham. Daytime and evening shifts are available, with full-time and part-time opportunities. Home Health Aide certification classes are also offered. The role involves supporting clients with activities of daily living, personal care, mobility, household tasks, and other listed care responsibilities. BAYADA describes its work environment as supportive and offers clinical manager support around the clock.
Requirements
- At least one year of work references in any field; newly certified applicants are welcome.
- Current Home Health Aide license in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living.
- Provide grooming and toileting assistance.
- Support range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist with transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Provide oral feeding and bathing assistance.
- Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Perform home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
- Assist clients with ambulation.
- Provide medication assistance.
