About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is looking for an organized, energetic, and people-focused Hiring Assistant to help our Hiring Coordinator with the recruiting and onboard outstanding caregivers, Home Health Aides (HHAs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs). If you enjoy talking with people, multitasking, and helping others find meaningful employment, this is an excellent opportunity to launch or grow your career in recruiting, human resources, talent acquisition, and healthcare staffing. As a Hiring Assistant, you will play a key role in assisting with the recruiting and hiring efforts of caregivers who provide exceptional care to seniors throughout Massachusetts.

Requirements

• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and email
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude with a strong desire to help others succeed

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in recruiting, hiring, customer service, healthcare staffing, human resources, or office administration preferred
• Healthcare or home care experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Comfortable speaking with candidates by phone and in person

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting activities and hiring events
• Assist with phone screenings and interviews
• Process employment paperwork and maintain personnel files
• Verify employment documentation and check requirements
• Answer applicant questions and provide excellent customer service
• Assist with answering phones
• Maintain accurate records using applicant tracking and office software
