About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to join our team in Taylor, MI. Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to pass background checks
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors
- Provide companionship and support to clients, promoting emotional well-being
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation
