About The Position

Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate, dependable Non-Medical Home Health Aides to provide care for seniors in their homes. This role focuses on helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent by assisting with daily living activities, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, companionship, and monitoring their condition. The position offers a chance to build meaningful connections and make a lasting impact on clients and their families.

Requirements

• Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Ability and willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius to client homes
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience required

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Planning and preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals and providing feeding assistance when needed
• Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, and general tidying
• Transporting clients to appointments, errands, and outings as needed
• Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Encouraging participation in daily routines and meaningful activities
• Observing and communicating any noticeable changes in a client's condition
