About The Position
Senior Helpers Southern Maryland is seeking experienced caregivers committed to providing compassionate, high-quality, one-on-one in-home care for seniors. Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Negative TB test
- Ability to reply to our hiring text with "Helper"
- Authorization to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Experience caring for seniors in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, or healthcare settings
- Experience assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), personal care, mobility assistance, transfers, companionship, and fall prevention
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient approach
- Dependable, professional, and committed to delivering exceptional care
- Weekend and holiday availability preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one, in-home care for seniors.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Provide personal care.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Offer companionship.
- Implement fall prevention strategies.
