About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to join our team in Van Buren Township, MI. Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job location.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Administer medication reminders and help manage clients’ schedules.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisory staff.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding client care and confidentiality.
