About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Assistants in Redford Township, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting clients
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient nature
- Ability to pass background checks
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in home care or a similar role is an asset, but NOT required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks including laundry and tidying living spaces
- Monitor client health and report any changes to supervising healthcare professionals
- Ensure client safety and well-being at all times
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided
