About The Position
Golden Heart Senior Care in Dayton, OH is seeking responsible and reliable individuals to join their team in the role of Home Care Assistant and CNA / HHA / STNA in the Dayton, Centerville, Beavercreek, Kettering, and Springfield OH area, to cover overnight shifts for clients. Caregivers work in clients’ homes to help change the quality of life of a senior, and keep them independent and safe in the home longer. Golden Heart offers a Career Path to all caregivers regardless of experience, providing opportunities to advance and earn higher wages, starting after just 90 days as a caregiver.
Requirements
- Genuinely concerned about helping people
- Be able to pass a background & criminal record check
- Pass a drug Screening test
- Provide proof of authorization to work in the United States
- Have a reliable vehicle & proof of auto insurance
- At least one year of caregiving experience as a caregiver, home health aide, HHA, personal care assistant, PCA, etc
Responsibilities
- Communicating with office and family
- Bathing, showering, toileting
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Dressing & grooming
- Light housekeeping, laundry, organizing incoming mail
- Transferring and providing transportation to doctor, beauty salon, etc
