Key duties include assisting with various household chores such as meal planning and cooking, cleaning, and laundry. The role also involves helping clients with activities outside the home like shopping and appointments, as well as providing assistance with daily living activities and personal care, including bathing, dressing, medication reminders, ambulation, positioning, toileting, and transfers. The assistant must complete accurate records of services provided, adhere to the client's plan of care, and maintain a professional, positive, and compassionate demeanor while interacting with clients, families, and other team members.
