About The Position
Brookdale at Home is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one companionship and non-medical hands-on care to seniors. Caregivers support daily routines and activities of daily living while encouraging independence and treating each senior with respect and dignity. Duties may include personal care, household tasks, pet care, transportation, and medication reminders. The role offers flexible scheduling, with full-time, part-time, and PRN positions available. Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one companionship to seniors.
- Provide non-medical hands-on care, including assistance with dressing, bathing, grooming, personal care, and transfers.
- Assist with housekeeping and laundry, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and dishes.
- Provide pet care.
- Transport seniors to doctors’ appointments and other errands.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Recognize individual needs, encourage independence, and treat seniors with respect and dignity.
- Help create a home-like setting and assist seniors with activities of daily living.
