About The Position
Haven Home Care provides essential support to eligible seniors through state or VA-funded programs. Our home care aides help clients maintain independence and comfort in their own homes by assisting with daily living tasks such as personal care, light housekeeping, and errands. We foster a positive team environment where employees feel appreciated and enjoy their work.
Requirements
- 12 months unpaid experience or 6 months paid experience
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
- Ability to lift 50 LBS
- Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Provides direct personal care to clients in the comfort of their home
- Preparing/cleaning up after a meal
- Bathing/personal care
- Basic home chores (sweeping, mopping, dusting)
- Laundry
- Providing companionship
- Running errands
