About The Position
Kingsway Senior Living in Belle Plaine is seeking Home Health Aides to join our team! We are looking for individuals who care and truly want to make a difference in our residents' lives. Previous experience in a skilled nursing home or assisted living community is preferred, but not required. Home Health Aides are eligible for a sign on bonus up to $1,000 depending on hours/shift selected!
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and friendly demeanor
- Genuine interest in working with and caring for the elderly
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents and their families
- Excellent communication skills
- Good team player
- Ability to commute/relocate: Belle Plaine, MN 56011: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing home or assisted living community is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with all of their ADL's (activities of daily living) including; dressing, dental hygiene, toileting and showering.
- Preparing for and assisting residents with meal times
- Medication administration
- Interaction/activities with residents
- General clean up and laundry
