About The Position
Responsible for helping elders and other patients maintain a safe and clean home, including various housekeeping tasks, meal preparation and companionship activities for clients in their homes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? yes
- Clinical/Hospital/Managed Care Office Experience 1-2 years preferred or Patient Care Experience 0-1 year preferred
- Knowledgeable in patient care practices, including personal care, homemaking, and basic health care services.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Have good personal hygiene.
- Able to do light housekeeping.
- Good communication skills both written and oral.
Responsibilities
- Doing the weekly grocery shopping.
- Cleaning, cooking, and doing the laundry.
- Staying up-to-date nutrition and hygiene.
