About The Position

Brookdale at Home is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one companionship and non-medical hands-on care to seniors. The position supports seniors with daily routines and activities of daily living while encouraging independence and treating each person with respect and dignity. Caregivers help create a home-like setting and may assist with personal care, household tasks, pet care, transportation, and medication reminders. Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions are available; the posting also mentions temporary associates, who are not benefits eligible except for possible participation in the company’s 401(k) program. Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one companionship to seniors.
Provide non-medical hands-on care, including assistance with dressing, bathing, grooming, personal care, and transfers.
Assist with housekeeping tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, and laundry.
Provide pet care.
Provide transportation to doctor’s appointments and other errands.
Give medication reminders.
Recognize individual needs, encourage independence, and treat each senior with respect and dignity.
Assist seniors with activities of daily living and daily routines in a home-like setting.
