About The Position

At Visiting Angels, caregiving is more than a job; it's a calling for individuals who cherish elders and treat them with kindness, skill, and compassion. We are actively recruiting caregivers to assist a specific client, Mrs. B, and provide peace of mind to her family. This role involves providing support in Westfield for an 87-year-old female client, up to 40 hours per week, with shifts available between 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM and/or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 5 days a week. The client has dementia and requires assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), personal care, ambulation, and joyful companionship. Visiting Angels West Springfield is a leading in-home care agency in Western Massachusetts, serving seniors, veterans, and disabled adults. Requirements

• Dementia Experience
• Reliable transportation
• Personal care Experience
• At least 2 forms of ID's
• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
• At least 2 - 3 professional references
• Willing to submit to criminal background checks
• Willing to pick up a shift every other weekend
• English fluent
• Current US driver’s license
• Car
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong ability to read, write, and speak English
• Punctuality and reliability
• Compassionate and caring heart
• Patience and willingness to learn new skills

Nice To Haves

• Certifications are welcome (CNA, HHA, etc.) but not required.
