About The Position
ComForCare is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as Home Care Aides/Caregivers. We have immediate openings for flexible shifts, including full-time and part-time opportunities in various San Diego communities. Our Caregivers are the heart of our organization, and we are committed to treating them with respect, providing ongoing training, and ensuring they have 24/7 support. This role involves providing essential in-home care services to clients, helping them live their best lives while maintaining their independence.
Requirements
- A genuinely caring, dependable personality (most important!)
- Active Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration with CDSS / Guardian
- Valid CA Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
- Ability to pass a Live Scan background check & TB test
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Dementia/Parkinson's care or back injury support is a plus
Responsibilities
- Helping clients with personal care, bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition
- Light housekeeping, laundry, and errands
- Medication reminders and safety oversight/mobility support
- Transportation to doctor's appointments and errands
- Providing meaningful companionship and engagement
