About The Position

We are looking for a responsible and driven Home Care Administrator to help manage day-to-day operations of our agency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and passionate about serving the community. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. No prior experience? The Mission of Assurance Care & Support Services Inc is to enable patients under our care to live independently and retain a sense of freedom of choice as they age. Our specialists work closely with the patient, their physician, and their family to improve care coordination and communication using a team-based approach. As a fully insured and licensed medical home health care agency, we offer a wide range of home health care services to families in Middlesex, Atlantic, Gloucester, Warren, Camden, Monmouth, Passaic, Morris, Hudson, Bergen, Burlington, Somerset, Sussex, Ocean, Mercer, Cape May, Cumberland, Union, Essex, Hunterdon, Salem Counties . Our in-home health care service can provide everything from companion care to assistance with daily living activities. At Assurance Care & Support Services Inc we take a proactive approach to client care, closely monitoring each client to ensure that we catch and care for any emerging issues before they become emergencies. All our care services are supervised with frequent care assessments by a licensed nurse in order to best provide for changing needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Comfortable with basic computer software (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)
  • Professional demeanor with a positive attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish )
  • Previous home care or healthcare experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily office operations and administrative tasks
  • Coordinate and schedule caregiver shifts and client visits
  • Communicate with caregivers, clients, and families in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate client records, files, and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with state and agency policies
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of caregivers
  • Monitor care plans and service delivery for quality and consistency
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries promptly
