About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Attendant to provide personalized care and support to clients in Clawson, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being in their own homes.
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must pass background checks.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Home Attendant or in a similar caregiving role is an asset, but NOT required.
- Basic CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers to prevent falls and injuries.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' conditions or needs to supervisors.
- Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
