About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Attendant to provide high-quality in-home care for our clients in Center Line, MI. This role involves supporting clients with daily living activities to enhance their independence and quality of life in a safe and comfortable environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or a related field preferred but not required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to care-giving
- Reliable transportation to and from client homes
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
- Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe home environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility and physical exercises as prescribed
- Monitor client condition and report any changes to healthcare professionals or supervisors
- Follow care plans and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of clients
