About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Attendant to provide high-quality care to our clients in Clawson, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being in a home setting.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
- Valid driver’s license or state ID is required for this position
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in home care or personal care roles is an asset, but NOT required
- Reliable transportation is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Support clients with mobility and transferring to prevent falls and injuries
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate records of services provided
