About The Position

The Holiday Temporary Associate delivers a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience practices, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role follows operational, merchandising, safety, and loss-prevention standards and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to meet business needs. The associate supports a positive store culture and contributes to store recovery, shrink reduction, and other duties as assigned. The position is at Marshalls Store 0335 in Hampton, Virginia, with a starting pay range of $13.50 to $14.00 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

Engage and interact with customers while following established customer experience practices.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide correct change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Follow the company’s merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
Give and receive recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow applicable labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and help maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
