About The Position

The Holiday Sales Assistant promotes and sells merchandise in a designated holiday gift area, keeps the area neat, organized, and stocked, and assists internal and external customers. The role includes helping customers with cash-and-carry orders and processing credit card transactions for gift sales. The position is seasonal and ends on December 31, 2026. The work takes place in an indoor, climate-controlled environment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift merchandise weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to listen and respond to customers' needs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Positive attitude when working with internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of employment and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell merchandise displayed in the designated holiday gift area.
• Keep the holiday gift area neat, organized, and stocked with merchandise.

• Assist customers with cash-and-carry orders.
• Process credit card transactions for gift sales.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
