About The Position
Humbug Holiday Lighting of Sioux Empire is seeking dependable, hard-working individuals for the 2026 holiday lighting season. This part-time seasonal role involves transforming homes and businesses with professional holiday lighting displays. Ideal for those who enjoy outdoor work, teamwork, and seeing tangible results. No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided.
Requirements
- Dependable and ready to work.
- Comfortable working outdoors in changing South Dakota weather.
- Comfortable working on ladders and at heights.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Able to follow directions and work well as part of a crew.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
- Positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with construction, roofing, landscaping, electrical work, ladders, or outdoor labor is helpful, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Install professional holiday lighting and decorations on homes and businesses.
- Work on rooflines, trees, shrubs, wreaths, garland, and other holiday displays.
- Safely use ladders, lifts, hand tools, and installation equipment.
- Assist with troubleshooting, repairs, and service calls throughout the season.
- Follow installation plans and pay close attention to detail.
- Keep job sites, vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Work with crew to complete installations safely and efficiently.
- Provide friendly, professional service when interacting with customers.
- Assist with holiday light takedowns and organization after the season.
