About The Position

This position will assist with the compilation of home-game highlights and recaps as well as live-updates on social media. This position will report to the team Media Relations & Broadcasting Coordinator. Must be pursuing a degree in broadcasting or a related field and be available for all Fayetteville Marksmen home games and select away games. Course credit is available for this internship if desired. This position will be hired over the coming months and will begin in October for the 2026-27 season. Finalists will be contacted for interviews.

Requirements

Must be pursuing a degree in broadcasting or a related field.
Must be available for all Fayetteville Marksmen home games and select away games.
Must be proficient in and have access to Adobe Premiere Pro.
A quick thinker who is able to follow directions as well as solve problems.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
Team player with the ability to relate professionally to all levels of staff, management and clientele.
Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of/passion for the game of hockey is STRONGLY preferred.

Responsibilities

Compile highlights into long-form recaps and quickly distribute to the team's media list.
Post live updates on the team's social media accounts for home games in collaboration with the social media team.
Maintain a professional demeanor and positively represent the Fayetteville Marksmen.
Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by the team.
