About The Position

The HMA Plant Operator assists with the production and placement of hot mix asphalt. The role involves manual and equipment-assisted material handling, working safely around heavy machinery and construction zones, site cleanup and maintenance, and supporting teammates and supervisors with labor-related tasks. The work is physically demanding and takes place in varied conditions, including inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to work safely in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Reliability and readiness to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operations.
• Strong work ethic and ability to remain focused in varied conditions.
• Commitment to punctuality and task completion.
• Submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require ongoing FMCSA-regulated drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities
