About The Position

U-Haul is hiring a Hitch Service Technician to work in U-Haul Moving and Storage Center lots, using technical skills to serve customers. The role involves explaining towing package options, recommending and installing suitable packages on customer vehicles, and providing customer support. Technicians also participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University and perform other duties as assigned. The posting lists compensation of $13–$15 per hour near the location details and later lists $18–$24 based on experience. Requirements

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
Basic wiring and hand/power tool experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be legally authorized to work and must not require employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Understand and explain U-Haul’s variety of towing packages.
Recommend and install the right tow package on customer vehicles.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to U-Haul customers.
Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
Perform other duties as assigned.
