About The Position

Nordstrom is hosting an in-store hiring event for openings in Beauty Sales, Women's Apparel, Accessories, Store Support & Cashiers, and Fulfillment. Candidates may attend without an advance appointment during the event and will be interviewed. Applicants should follow hiring-event signs on arrival or ask a Nordstrom employee for directions. Bringing a resume is optional, and the interview process takes approximately one hour. On-the-spot offers will be made for most roles. If applicants cannot attend, their applications will still be considered. The event is at Nordstrom Fashion Island, 901 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach, CA 92660, on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Pay varies by role and location and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Listed hourly ranges are Customer Service: $18.85–$19.65; Sales: $18.80; Sales Support: $18.85–$19.65; and Stock, Fulfillment and Delivery: $18.85–$19.65. Other roles should refer to their individual job postings for pay ranges. Most selling employees may also receive commissions, which typically range from 3% to 14.5% for apparel, shoes, and accessories sales, and are typically 3% for Beauty and Men's Fragrance sales. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Benefit eligibility requirements may depend on location, job level, classification, and length of employment. The stated standard physical requirements include continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift; frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, reaching, and hand use for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling; handling bulky or awkward merchandise, including reaching and lifting items above the head; regularly lifting items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds; and frequently lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds for Stock/Logistics roles.

Requirements
