About The Position
Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking a freelance Hindi Teacher for a client in Pleasanton, United States. This is a one-to-one general language course with a total of 20 hours, consisting of 10 two-hour sessions. The student is a beginner and the motivation for learning is to communicate with Indian-American family members. The schedule is generally twice per week, with a preference for Mondays and Fridays, or Saturday mornings, between 10 am and 3 pm. The position is freelance and part-time.
Requirements
- Native Hindi speaker and/or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of Pleasanton, CA 94539.
- Ability to provide CV with references.
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide customized language training to a beginner student.
- Conduct one-to-one Hindi lessons.
- Adapt to the student's learning needs and motivation.
