About The Position
The HIM Technician, Non-Certified supports the collection and preparation of medical records for coding and reimbursement activities, physician chart completion, and permanent record storage and retrieval. The role may also include completing birth certificates in accordance with state requirements and hospital policy, assisting the HIM Tech, Certified as directed by the HIM Operations Manager/Lead, and performing other tasks needed for HIM operations. This is a full-time position in Bentonville. The posting lists a high school diploma or equivalent, or some college, and 1–3 years of medical records experience as preferred requirements.
